Polaris is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist to assist in the management of the company’s export compliance program including defense-controlled product and sanctioned country screening.

The Export Compliance Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and obtaining information necessary to classify ECCN for all parts designed for export-controlled vehicles at the time of part set-up
  • Reviewing and manage shipment holds for orders with controlled parts
  • Working with business units to obtain information required for export license applications and Technical Assistance Agreements; manage open licenses and agreements
  • Managing records and decrementing licenses after exports 
  • Creating export documents, obtaining export filings and managing export shipment
  • Develop and maintain 3PL oversight and audit program
  • Helping to develop and conduct audits related to ECCN classification, export filings and documents
  • Support restricted party screening and sanctioned county activities; writing related standard work and performing audits related to sanctions and restricted parties
  • Helping to create and conduct new employee trainings on export controls as well as annual trainings for all business units impacted by export controls
  • Assisting with gathering and documenting requirements, testing and roll out of IS project to improve export documents
  • Assisting with SOP development and training

Minimum Qualifications:

4+ years trade compliance experience

4-year degree

Strong analytical and organizational skills
