It’s a Ranger
It’s a Ranger that’s built solid from the factory. Needs more travel/better shocks. Needs better underbelly protection for the price. 30” tires fit with no problem. Pushes into turns. Not a rzr but a heck of a Ranger. Bed space is incredible. Shifting is clunky and can grind when hot due to being in between gears even though indicator shows it in low. Once you get used to it you can work around it with the right throttling. Great machkne overall. Very pleased. Power steering light comes on when you spray clean water under the dash to clean dust but goes away when it dries or you cycle it a few times. Never took it deep but based on the snorkels you’ll need to be ready to put good dialectric grease in all connections for it to perform as it looks like it should. Again, very pleased with the machine. Just trying to be transparent.

Dont buy
I bought this in hopes of it being a great family fun toy. First time i take it out went through a good size mud hole and the snorkels failed and motor took on water. Had the dealership fight with polaris just to get polaris to cover the manufacturing defect. Unit only had 4 hours on it when that happened. Nothing but door issues now and I'm fed up now and wish I never bought this polaris junk. This will be my last and only one I buy.

Great bike
I use my ranger about 3 times a week. Seems I got the bike that was in production during Covid-19 and I had several problems with the bike all bolts were loose an lost a brake pad while riding the retaining bolt for the slide was missing in the drivers side caliper. Brought back to dealer they warranty the caliper and checked almost every bolt on the bike to make sure it was safe after 51 hours of riding the machine.

Good machine
Overall it's a great machine but it shifts way too hard between gears and Polaris vented the belt exhaust snorkel onto the engine exhaust header so the the snorkel is not functional all the way to the top. If it gets submerged over the "loop" in the vent it will fill the belt box with water. It's a terrible design that gives you a false sense of security and it should be advertised more straightforwardly.

Great features
I traded my 2017 Polaris general to get this Ranger. I wanted more room to sit, more cargo space and the snorkels. It has preformed very well and has done everything I needed. I did get the high lifter edition. I do not really care for the Outlaw 2’s that it comes with. Personally they are a bit small and are only for mud.
I enjoy the mud and water that it can handle. The big thing for me was the snorkel. I don’t always go into the “deep” but I do love the option. I don’t care for the placement of the intakes for the belt on the other machines.
Comfort wise, it travels very nice down the trail but with the Outlaw tires it is sure hard to handle down the road. I’d prefer a 30” or bigger, aggressive road tire that could handle the mud or the drive down the road.
I also don’t care for your 6 month warranty on this machine. If you built it and sell it I think it should have a minimum of a 1 year warranty. Just make some stipulations.

Great vehicle
I bought in December and I’m really happy with it. The only thing that I am going to complain is the hose clamps for the cooling system were loose from the factory. I had a hose blow off riding my second time to run it. I had 4 hrs on the machine. I had to take it to the dealership to get coolant to flow properly, other than that I love it.

Owner review
I bought the unit about 3 months ago. so far everything has performed great. it has been in plenty of mud and also on some rocks out in central Texas. power is great. the on demand 4wheel drive performs amazing and is instantly engaged. Only complaint is tire size. for a mud unit they need to at least have 29.5 on the ranger as well.

Lots of room
Lots of room, really live the machine gave it 4 stars, because of the tires. They are the worst riding tires i have ever owned. Under 10 miles an hour they rattle and shake entire bike, I understand this is a mud specific bike but you have to ride some harrow k to get to mud and there is plenty of mud tires that ride a lot better.

This thing roks!
We love the highlifter but we wish that Polaris would come out with tail lights equipped with back up lights integrated. I wish that the highlifter head turf friendly rear-end instead of positive traction. This thing does however rock and will go anywhere! It’s super quite and will amaze you with features and power.

Great machine
I bought my ranger a few months ago. I have really enjoyed the room of the crew vs my standard cab. Polaris rangers are great. Definitely one of the best out there. My only complaint is the OEM batteries are terrible. Replaced that with an odyssey and problem solved though. Easy fix!

Love my machine
I have had 4 Wheeler's and side-by-sides and nothing compares to my Ranger. It is so perfect for me and my fur-kids to ride around in. We can go almost anywhere with no concerns. I am so happy that we made the switch from Can-am to the Ranger!!!! RANGER LOVE!!!!

High Lifter Crew
I use my ranger primarily for duck hunting. I like that the highlifter comes pretty much ready to go for what I do, but there are a few things that I would like to see improved on the rangers. For one, I wish the highlifter model had different color options-either black or camo. The bright orange sticks out like a sore thumb if you are using it for hunting like I do. 2nd, I'd like to see better thought out mud protection for the frame and rear/engine area of the vehicle. I try to clean my unit after every hunt and there's so many cracks and open areas on the back of the vehicle that it takes an hour plus to really get it completely clean. Also, the frame has open ends on it so mud gets in there and traps water and the frame starts to rust from the inside out. I've been running rangers for 20+ years and I've had 2 that the frame rusted out because of this issue. These are the 2 main reasons why I didn't give a 5 rating. Compared to other units out there, Rangers are the best but some small things could be improved.

I bought couple months ago only got to use in mud once goes great, Not happy after when cleaning machine decals came off box , also had wire harness probably within first 2miles had to be replaced. Warranty should be by mileage or hours for the money it cost

Awesome mudding machine
I use my ranger all the time far as from yard work to having fun in the trails. Awesome mudding machine love the low gears and 4wd. Love the weight it can handle in the bed and how it dumps. Just a good all around machine for anyone who works and plays.

Smooth Ride
I bought this Ranger Highlifter a few months ago and I like it! It has plenty of seatage and bed room. I just wish they would come standard with a roof or maybe throw in a Bluetooth speaker lol overall it’s a great machine and we really enjoy it.

Smooth riding.
I bought 3 months ago. Already broke both front axles trail riding not even in mud. Was told warranty didn’t cover axles. Winch quit working so had to replace it. Missing a cover from the dealership that wasn’t put on.

Almost nailed it
I’ve had it 3 months now. Clutch was out of alignment causing hard shifting in and out of gear. I run portals so had to go back to a 2017 portal bracket to run stronger lower ball joints. Great other than that though.

Polaris High Lifter
My ranger is used almost every weekend. I hog hunt year round and it is my primary means of transportation while hunting. I usually have 2-3 riders including myself along with a dog box and 5-6 dogs on average.

Very capable
I love riding off-road in my ranger however if we could do something about the seat angle or cushions that would be awesome. My brother has a highlifter rzr and it just seems soo much more comfortable to ride.

work horse
I bought the Ranger last fall and have used it as a workhorse, skidding logs, plowing snow, hauling tools, building materials etc.
Now that summer is coming I hope to do get out and have some fun playing.

Gibson Review
We bought our Ranger about 4 months ago. On mud rides we keep up to the other buggies that have larger tires and lifts. Its great for around the yard and garden. Plus fits the whole family comfortably.

Good sxs
Transmission could definitely shift smoother and front diff could be less loud and not sound like something is grinding. (They all do it) not sure why there isn’t an usb outlet yet it’s freaking 2020

The best side by side for a family of 5
I use my ranger daily for hunting, cutting wood and taking the kids for a ride around the farm. Takes a lot to get my highlighter stuck. The ultimate recovery bike for when your buddies get stuck!

Lots of fun!
Had mine over 6 months now a few little problems even the first ride. If you buy a new one make sure the air box is put together properly. Horrible design. But a super fun bike! Warranty sucks.

I have only one issue.
Love the machine with one exception. The headlights are pointed way too high, even after adjusting. I had to mount an LED light bar on the bumper to be able to see good enough at night.

Great machine
Awesome machine, the only issue is when Im driving on dusty trails, dirt and dust comes threw the opening under the doors and swirls in the cab. (I have a full glass windshield).
