Polaris Gem Introduces 2015 Models

Minneapolis, MN (July 24, 2014) – Polaris Industries Inc. (NYSE: PII), a leading manufacturer of electric vehicles, today announced the availability of its 2015 line of Polaris GEM vehicles. These vehicles are ready for order through all 260 authorized GEM dealers in North America. With over 50,000 vehicles built in the past 16 years, GEM remains a leader in premium electric performance for transporting people, moving cargo, and performing essential work tasks.

Backed by 60 years of Polaris performance and innovation, the lineup of transport e2, e4, e6 and light-utility vehicles eS, eL, eL XD, eM1400 – feature zero-emissions and are equipped to seat two-to-six people and haul up to 1,450 pounds of payload. New for 2015, Polaris GEM is pleased to offer our customers an eM1400 LSV which is street legal on most city streets with posted speed limits of 35 mph or less. In addition, Polaris is launching the M1400 4X2 gas vehicle specifically designed for light-duty commercial utility applications. This vehicle has class-leading ride and handling, ground clearance, and payload of 1,400 pounds, similar to the GEM eM1400 launched late last year.
