Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Benefit from the Polaris Foundation and Flood Run® Donation

St. Paul, MN (November 16, 2012) – The Polaris Foundation recently presented Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN), with a check for $10,000. Polaris made this donation during the 2012 Spring and Fall Flood Run^® motorcycle rides.

“The Flood Run events are a great way for the public to enjoy a day of riding that will benefit children served by Gillette throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin,” says Josh Fulkerson, Polaris Industries, Victory Marketing Manager. “We are delighted to make the donation and are very proud of our ongoing support of Gillette and the important work that it does.”

The Flood Run motorcycle events are one of the oldest and largest motorcycle runs in the Midwest. Funds are raised by purchasing official Flood Run merchandise and wristbands, which give riders discounts at stops as they travel along Highway 61 in Minnesota and Wisconsin 35. Bikers with motorcycles of all makes and models come together to help raise funds for children at Gillette. In 2012, the Spring and Fall Flood Runs raised a total of $85,000 for Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare. For more information about the Flood Run visit www.floodrun.org.
