As a Financial Analyst you will be a key member of the Corporate Accounting Team, providing a foundation for accelerated growth throughout Polaris.  This position collaborates with the broader finance organization to drive business results, through participation in the consolidation and analysis of financial data, in compliance with US GAAP and in alignment with Polaris’s goals and priorities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform month-end and quarter-end close procedures, such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and disclosure support.

  • Support worldwide financial teams and review inter-company transactions.

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to improve accuracy and efficiency of intercompany reporting process.

  • Assist with the preparation of annual management fees and transfer price adjustments.

  • Partner with Treasury department to ensure proper and accurate reconciliation of complex bank balances.

  • Facilitate quarterly reserve review process including presenting results to the external auditors and business unit executives.

  • Drive quality and continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.

  • Prepare audit schedules as required and work with internal/external audit teams to resolve inquiries.

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and miscellaneous projects as requested by finance leadership to aid in moving the business forward.

  • Play a critical role in creation of new entities within the organization reporting structure.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or relevant field required.

  • High proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office products required.

  • MAPICS, OneStream, PowerBI, and other query & data tools experience a plus.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work through ambiguity, take initiative, and navigate challenges and obstacles.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Hybrid work environment (3 days/week average in office)

  • Standard, fast-paced office environment

  • Some travel may be required
