POSITION SUMMARY:

The ORV Sr. Marketing Analyst will compile data, develop tools, and perform analysis that contribute to the optimization of marketing investment and marketing funnel tracking. The role will focus on customer life-cycle insights, retail contribution and marketing campaign effectiveness, web reporting and maintaining analytic capabilities that move Polaris forward as a data-driven organization.  Utilizing the generated data and insights, they will support ORV Marketing and Sales teams to drive efficient marketing and retail execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze data and deliver actionable insights to internal teams to ensure marketing strategies are data-driven, business-focused and optimized to ensure campaign success
  • Synthesize analytic results with business input to drive measurable change using demand forecasts, campaign measurement and foundational business reporting
  • Educate business users on analytic solutions available to infuse efficiencies in their day-to-day operations
  • Effectively communicate technical analyses and results to business partners
  • Analyze results to understand performance, create a relevant story, and make recommendations across all marketing channels including direct mail, email, Paid Media, Polaris brand website and dealer websites
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in marketing analysis
  • Maintain an understanding of the Polaris multi-source data architecture and analytics procedures, systems, workflows, definitions, and data governance
  • Collaborate with Data and Analytics Organization to stay up to date with current best practices as well as new technologies and tools
  • Build reports and automated dashboards that translate complex data into easy-to-understand business insights
  • Ensure quality and correct discrepancies within analytic solutions
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in marketing analysis

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a quantitative or scientific field (Math/Stats, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or similar)
  • 3+ years of work experience in an analytics-focused role with experience including digital marketing analysis, dashboard development and application of predictive analytics
  • Experience with analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake and Google Analytics
  • Expert-level proficiency in manipulating large datasets including blending and summarizing raw data into curated datasets that can feed automated dashboards
  • Fluency in SQL, with the ability to extract data and create data views
  • A foundational understanding of statistical analysis and experiment design and multi-touch attribution
  • Proven track record of driving results
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience driving the successful of application of customer segmentation and personalization
  • Expert-level proficiency in office software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work cross functionally at all levels of a matrix environment
