As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to work with and support finance teams across the Polaris organization to identify and solve  business process challenges. You will be at the core of the Digital Transformation program, working with cross-functional business partners to design and build solutions to address their challenges and drive the business results. Reporting relationship will be to the Director of Finance Process & Systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop solution design documentation, detailed UX components, financial and business logic rules, data integrations and any associated data transformations/ETL rules.
  • Ability to build out a data flow diagrams to enable discussion with the business partners to build out end to end business process solutions.
  • Build technical solutions, being proficient in and all of the core digital solutions across the Polaris landscape.
  • Develop and lead training on financial solutions.
  • Support the core business owner teams with administration of solutions, security updates, meta data changes, migrations from development.
  • Test new capabilities and provide insights on use cases for broader teams.
  • Collaboration across the business partner community to help elevate digital transformation opportunities across the organization.
  • Maintains and documents financial procedures and collaborates with business partners on developing and enforcing effective processes and controls to maintain financial integrity.
  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting or Finance related field required. 
  • 3-6 years experience in systems development,  finance and/or financial systems preferred, manufacturing experience a plus.
  • A curiosity and drive to innovate and continuously improve processes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships in a matrix environment with multiple customers and evaluators.
  • Strong skills in multi dimensional financial modeling and data interchange /integrations required, experience with and EPM Solutions (OneStream, Hyperion Planning, Adaptive Planning) and SQL, Alteryx and/or Power BI a plus.
  • Strong process, analytical, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Driven with the ability to work independently and manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives at once.
  • Experience with VB.Net/Java/Python development preferred
