I grew up in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, putting mile after mile on ...more
I grew up in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, putting mile after mile on my Mini-Z as I chased around my dad's tracks in the mountains. A change had me sledless for over ten years, when I was able to make my way to the Rockies and get a taste of what I've been missing. That's when I went all out and picked up my Pro. The feeling of my 125lb body being able to throw around the lightest and most flickable sled on the market in the back country was a great feeling. The ability to hunt the back country and chase untouched powder in the beautiful terrain instantly gave me the feeling of my youth, being there with my dad. Although the sleds have advanced unbelievably over a decade, the thought that my Pro could take me to a place where I could uncover my sledding childhood that were unknowingly etched in to memories, is priceless. When I'm carving new terrain, surrounded by the freedom and tranquility of the mountains on my Pro, there is nothing else in that moment that matters. The opportunity to ride a Polaris has revamped the urge for thrill, and only 'powder can cure this itch'. This continuous countdown until the next time I get to throw my leg over my Pro and experience it all over again, that is my Moment of Domination.
