RZRs filled the podium this past weekend at the GNCC Big Buck, in Union, SC.

Coastal Racing’s Scott Kiger had a rough start but finished strong ending up in third place in the XC1 Modified Class and fourth overall. Teammate, William Yokley’s day ended early when his front wheel came in contact with another machine’s rear wheel and broke a steering component. Yokley would keep it in the family though with Big Country Powersports/Yokley Racing UTV Team driver John Yokley finishing first Overall and first in the XC1 Modified Class. 

William Yokley is back to defend his No. 1 spot in his Polaris / Coastal / CST / National Guard / Yoshimura / Yokley Racing RZR XP 900 as is Yokley’s teammate, Scott Kiger, who finished second last year, in his RZR XP 900.

The General features a shorter-than-normal track with technical wood sections and open fields. The new dead-engine start hindered Yokley as his car didn’t immediately fire, leaving him last. Kiger, on-the-other-hand, had a great start and ran most of the race up front. Yokley was able to work his way through traffic and made a pass for the lead about a mile from the finish. Kiger finished fourth.
