Numbers of Years with Polaris: 11

Most Memorable Racing Moment: My first year racing I qualified first in the 800 Imp Stock at Jackson Hole, during the finals I remember watching all the legends like Rick Ward, Dennis Durmas, and Darrin Gould all fail to make it over in my class. When it came my turn I remember thinking my sled was about to get wrecked big time! I ended up going over the top and placed second in the class! I was so nervous I hardly remember a thing about the run.

How did you get started in Racing?: Watched the Jackson Hole Hillclimbs from the side of the course in 2001, thought I could do what those guys were doing. Sold everything in my possesion to build one race sled and started racing in 2002

Goals for 2013-2014 Race Season:
Ride to the best of my abilities on every run I make and have my equipment working as good as it possibly can!

Favorite Track/Race: Jackson Hole…you can't beat the hill, the crowd and the environment

Any pre-race rituals (routines, apparel) you do for good luck?:
I used to be really superstitous, but not so much any more. The main thing for me is the inside of the trailer and the sleds have to be clean! If it is messy it drives me absolutley crazy!

Who has influenced your race career the most?: For me it's two people…my Dad and Jack Struthers. Jack has done so much for me as a friend and mentor there's no way I could have had the success I have without him. My Dad has been my right hand man and my best friend through the thick and thin, no matter what happens along the way he has always been right there beside me.
