So it all started out as a nice day in Cooke City, Montana and we'd been riding finding meadows, hills ,tree lines, and what not. We come to this small meadow untouched with a lot of trees around it. So we tear up the meadow boondocking and stuff and I see this little opening to the right. So I tell my friend (who is my partner for tree riding) that we should hit this line. So we start off with a sidehill right away and we end up going down a little hill still in a sidehill. To our right was a cliff drop and to our left was a straight up and down cliff and we couldn't turn around because it was 4-5 feet deep and my friend was on a 141 long track. So I keep creeping slowly to see whats ahead of us. All I see is a small opening for a sled and it looks like a drop with a bunch of trees at the bottom. So I said "What the Heck" Brand new sled hope I don't destroy it. So I creep to the edge and look over and see its not a cliff drop (Thank god). So I start going down it on one ski because to my left is a sidehill which was the way out, if I went straight it would go into a pocket of trees. So I'm creepin down and I plant my foot to slow it down going down this hill and my foot goes into a hole. It was part of the cliff, so I'm up chest deep in snow hangin onto my sled with no feet on it to keep it for going down in the trees. I did this bout three more times but luckily I got to the point where I could start sidehilling. So I started the Sidehill and my back end starts washing out and all I could think was "Don't get stuck, please don't get stuck". So I'm pushin with my foot and pinning the sled and I'm going into thick trees and I could here my friend pinned behind me and I hoped he wouldn't get stuck because the only way to get him would be walking. Finally we do a little sidehill through the trees and were back into a meadow. Me and my friend look at eachother and couldn't believe what happened, we high fived and talked about that line the rest of thr trip.
