Took my first mountain trip this winter to Cooke City Montana. I was pretty nervous considering the hardest riding I have done is on the trails. I was going to a place where the trails are few and far between. I had just bought my sled and never got a chance to use because of the odd winter we are having with no snow. We pulled up to the mountain at 4 a.m. and parked in a parking lot about 9 miles from the town and had to ride snow packed roads in, it was pitch dark so I had no idea what my surrounding looked like. My friends pulled in at 8:30 a.m. after driving all night so we put on our gear and headed out. The view was amazing but the sled felt better, we got on the mountain and it felt like I have owned the sled for years. The handling was unbelievable, the sled made it easy to put all of my trust into it. I was riding through 5 feet of powder the whole weekend and only got stuck once. It was nice not having to worry about sled problems and in this case the sled made the trip perfect and the mountains were just a bonus.
