Like all full-size Polaris Rangers, the Diesel model offers an industry leading combination of towing, carrying and three-seat capacity. So why has Polaris released such a wide range of heavy duty vehicles? “Our research shows customers in heavy applications are demanding them, such as mining companies, the military and our core farming market,” says Polaris Managing Director, Peter Alexander.
Polaris Rangers have always featured excellent performance, and Ranger Diesel is no exception with a world-beating top speed of 56km/h. With 90% of peak torque available at 1,600rpm, Ranger Diesel hauls all day with its 454kg full pallet-size tipping box and massive 907kg towing capacity.
Ranger Diesel features a rubber mounted 24hp 904cc proven YANMAR® Three-Cylinder Engine for low vibration and immediate grunt. Plus a fully sealed transmission and plenty of horsepower means you get more power and burn less fuel while performing the same work in all weather conditions.
If there is one thing that distinguishes a Polaris, it’s ride quality. Ranger Diesel features long travel suspension (24.4cm front, 22.9cm rear) and 30.5cm of ground clearance to keep the ride smooth. The unique four-corner adjustable suspension system allows you to adjust to a soft setting for trail riding or stiffen the ride for heavy-duty work. Ranger Diesel also comes equipped with On-Demand True AWD with Turf Mode which automatically engages all four wheels when you need more forward traction.
As with the other Polaris SxS models, you get superior cab ergonomics for outstanding driver and passenger comfort. Standard features include tilt steering with the highest range of motion (25.4cm), extra legroom, easy cab slide-through design for three adults to get in and out quickly, plus new Hi/Low beam headlights.
